Temporary Business & Project Administrator (Senior Admin)

Are you an experienced, highly organised, and proactive administrator with a knack for detail? We're on the lookout for someone just like you to join our team as a Business and Project Officer!
In this dynamic role, you'll dive into a variety of administrative tasks, including:

  • Meeting Support: From scheduling and agenda preparation to report collation and minute-taking, you'll ensure everything runs smoothly for various committees and team meetings.
  • Website and Documentation Updates: Keep our online presence and internal documents up-to-date and accurate.
  • Research and Reporting: Conduct research on diverse topics and compile insightful reports.
  • Data Management: Collect, manage, analyse, and report on crucial information.

    Your new role

    You'll be a key player in our business partnering approach, providing essential support to our Chief Operating Officer & Deputy Chief Executive and their team. Plus, you'll get the chance to contribute to a range of exciting projects and initiatives.

    Reporting to the Governance and Contract Manager, you'll be part of our close-knit Business and Project Support team, which includes an Assistant Manager CRM and Business Support, two Business and Project Officers, and a Business and Project Support Assistant.
Your main responsibilities
  • Maintain information systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and currency.
  • Support secretariat functions: minute taking, diary management, and paper distribution.
  • Keep governance framework, policies, and statutory records up to date; proofread documents.
  • Produce, analyse, and present survey results.
  • Conduct research as directed by Senior Management.
  • Manage and update website content.
  • Provide project and business support to Senior Management Team (SMT) and staff.
  • Foster good relationships and effective communication within the PSAA team.
  • Liaise effectively with appointed auditors and external stakeholders.
  • Skills required for this role
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and use initiative.
  • Confident in oral and written communication; able to present and voice opinions constructively.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail; accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • Good project management skills, including progress tracking and risk management.
  • Strong team-working skills; cooperative and flexible.
  • Good interpersonal skills; confident confidence at all levels.
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams, survey tools).
  • Good analytical skills; able to handle complex data.
  • Effective at working independently and knowing when to seek advice.
