Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge? We're partnering with a 5-star award-winning residential housebuilder, known for their quality developments and one of the best holiday allowances in the industry! With offices in Bristol and plenty of flexibility to work from home, this role offers the perfect balance of site and remote working.

You'll be overseeing 3-4 traditional housing developments across Somerset, managing all commercial aspects to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to mentor a more junior Assistant Quantity Surveyor, helping to shape the next generation of talent in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing the commercial aspects of multiple housing developments, ensuring they meet financial targets.
• Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and procurement plans for each project.
• Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms.
• Conducting site visits to monitor progress and handle any variations.
• Providing accurate financial reporting and cost forecasting to support project decisions.
• Administering contracts, valuations, and payments, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Mentoring junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
