Job Requirements/Description
We are working with a local authority in the South of England helping them in their search for a Senior Highways Engineer. This role would be offered out initially on 6 month basis £40-45 p/hr inside IR35 This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. As a Senior Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering new highway infrastructure and improvement schemes in the council. As an enthusiastic and effective Senior Engineer, you will support the Principal Engineer in leading a team of engineers with varying levels of experience to deliver a wide range of highway projects on time and within budget. The team is responsible for projects ranging from minor highway improvements to major highway projects including active travel and pedestrianised zones. The above position on a 6 month rolling contract and is hybrid working. You will be required to be office based 2 days a week with the occasional site visits.
