Role Requirements: RF Verification & Test Engineer
- Working on Microwave Power Module and TWT development programmes
- Develop test methodology, understanding system requirements and functional characteristics
- Work with test facilities equipment owners, both internal/external, assemble/develop test set-ups and plan testing
- Execute test plans and write test reports to demonstrate compliance
- Liaise with electronics and microwave tube engineers to diagnose and resolve system and component level performance issues
Essential Skills/experience: RF Verification & Test Engineer
- Knowledge of microwave theory, equipment and test processes
- Experience working microwave amplifier systems - mW to W
- Test planning working from customer, internal and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience working on defence electronics systems and projects
- Degree level or equivalent industrial experience
