We are a specialist recruitment agency working with our client, a renowned renewable energy company based in Central London.


We have a vacancy for a talented and enthusiastic Strategy and Operations Manager to join our client's team on a permanent, full time basis.


Office location: South Bank London (3 days remote home working, 2 days in office)


Essential Skills:

  • Advanced Excel (e.g pivot tables, macros, etc)
  • Data Visualisation (Power BI or Tableau, etc)
  • Solid understanding of strategic frameworks

Role Summary:

The Strategy and Operations Manager will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and optimizing the organization's operational workflows. Reporting to the COO, this role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful impact and excels in a collaborative team setting.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Planning and Implementation:
  • Formulate and execute strategic plans to further the company's mission and goals.
  • Analyze industry trends and offer insights to guide strategic choices.
  • Perform market analysis and competitive benchmarking.


  • Operational Efficiency:
  • Refine and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
  • Oversee project management to ensure the timely completion of critical initiatives.


  • Advanced Data Analysis:
  • Employ advanced Excel techniques, including Macros, PivotTables, INDEX MATCH, data validation, and data manipulation, to analyze and present data.
  • Develop and manage dashboards to monitor key performance indicators.


  • Data Visualization:
  • Design and manage data visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to convey insights and support decision-making.
  • Ensure visualizations are clear, effective, and tailored to the target audience.


  • Presentation and Communication:
  • Create and deliver impactful presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate complex data insights and strategic recommendations.


  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve organizational goals.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Strategy, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in strategy, operations, or a similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Macros, PivotTables, INDEX MATCH, data validation, and data manipulation.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong skills in presentation design and delivery.
  • Deep understanding of strategy frameworks and tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
