Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring and Oversight: Supervise the progress of projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, financial parameters, and project timelines.
  • Strategic Leadership: Make informed decisions and provide clear direction to project managers, guiding them in implementing strategies to achieve project objectives efficiently.
  • Client Relationship Management: Interface with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and fostering strong working relationships to ensure satisfaction.
  • Cost-effective Planning: Develop comprehensive and cost-effective plans to facilitate timely project completion while optimising available resources.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or reputational harm to the project and the organization.
  • Compliance and Legalities: Ensure all necessary permits and legal documentation are obtained in advance to facilitate smooth project execution within regulatory frameworks.
  • Team Management: Manage and support project managers, empowering them to effectively lead their teams and fulfil their responsibilities.
  • Office and Site Work: Engage in both office-based activities and on-site visits to oversee project operations and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Project Health Dashboard Management: Develop and oversee a dynamic project health dashboard to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics. Skills & Requirements:


  • Leadership and Business Management: Demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership, make sound business decisions, and effectively manage teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and software relevant to project management, enhancing efficiency in project execution and reporting.
  • Persistence and Initiative: Proven ability to persevere in the face of challenges, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure thorough oversight of project activities and compliance with quality standards.
  • Work Experience: Prior experience in supporting roles within project teams, coupled with proven management experience or qualifications, is essential. Practical exposure to the construction industry is highly desirable.
