Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior JavaScript Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining front-end and back-end applications using JavaScript and modern frameworks/libraries. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in JavaScript, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead projects and mentor junior developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using JavaScript, as well as owning assigned tickets end-to-end to delivery the request.
- Lead the development of single-page applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js and or node.js.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code with a focus on maintainability.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Maintain version control using Git and follow best practices in code reviews and continuous integration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the JavaScript ecosystem.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and providing technical leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in JavaScript development.
- Extensive experience with front-end frameworks such as React.js, Node.js
- Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB
