Job Requirements/Description
We are a family from Launceston currently looking for an au pair to help out with everyday childcare task for our 6 month old baby(born 7/4/24). Ideally, we would like someone to look after our baby 3-4 days a week so I can return to work. We would like someone that has experience, enjoys babies, can be silly with play, would be willing to go to events with bub during the day when you are looking after him and just look after him like we would with love and care. Light house work, for example: cleaning up after bub, basic washing and just general day to day tiding-we are not looking for a cleaner, just someone that will take care of our home if it was their own and tidy up after themselves.
We are not looking for someone to work/childmind 6 days a week. We are looking for an arrangement to look after bub from 8am to 5pm on the days that I work. Weekends you will be free to travel/personal time and most Friday's will also be free (depending on husbands work schedule). Every now and again it would be nice for husband and I to have a date night which would be booked in prior.
This is a new experience for us instead of putting our baby into child minding. We are very open to an Au Pair that speak a different language then English as their first language but ideally their English skills would be strong as bub will be learning to talk. We are looking for a long term agreement at least 3-6 months, extend if we are all happy. This does not need to be a live in, but we also have the space for live in Au Pair.
