System Engineer

System Engineer – Chelmsford - £40-50K

Our client is recruiting for a System Engineer to join one of their exciting engineering departments. Always working at the cutting edge of technology, our client has an enviable reputation as a world leader, in developing cutting-edge imagery products.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineer to join as a System Engineer to lead the planning and execution of their imaging platforms. The role requires a multidisciplinary engineer to oversee the various functional engineering team inputs into the system and test design and manufacture, while also utilising project management.

The role

• Lead delivery of designed test platforms.
• Support across verification and validation processes of products and test plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams of engineers for the project.
• Provide Engineering governance through the project life cycle.
• Ownership, maintenance & delivery of the Engineering Management Plan
• Scheduling of projects in Microsoft Project

Skills & Experience

• Experience with system design, development, manufacture, and verification.
• Broad knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines
• Experience with building test plans and requirements for testing systems.
