In this role, you will manage a small team (1 direct report) and balance hands-on security operations with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) responsibilities. The role offers flexibility, requiring only one day a week onsite in Preston. Responsibilities: Develop and implement security policies and procedures Manage security operations and incident response Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 Conduct risk assessments and audits Lead a team of 1 and collaborate with wider IT teams Tech Stack: SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls Vulnerability management tools Cloud security (AWS, Azure) This is an excellent opportunity to shape the security landscape within a dynamic organisation.
