VP Delivery Manager / Business Analyst – Reference & Market Data IT

My client, a leading global investment bank, are looking for a Delivery Manager/Business Analyst to support and enhance this firms financial reference data platform, GoldenSource.

You will lead a small team of business analysts and developers, manage key projects, and provide day-to-day support for platform operations with additional support from an outsourced team.

This is a key role in managing the reference data platform, requiring you to be proactive across the IT department. Your responsibilities will include ensuring system stability, performance, and functionality, while working with stakeholders to maintain service levels. Alongside managing specific reference data projects, you'll support broader initiatives involving the platform. With multiple projects running simultaneously, strong multitasking skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of BA's & Developers to deliver projects and handle daily operational tasks.
• Gather and document business requirements; design workflows and data mappings.
• Develop and execute test plans; support UAT and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage system configuration and improvements for GoldenSource.
• Ensure smooth platform operation, addressing issues and managing system performance.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience with the GoldenSource platform (version 8.9 preferred).
• Strong understanding of reference data systems and workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL, test scripting, and execution.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in the banking industry is a plus.
