SEND Teaching Assistant

Do you have the patience and understanding to support students with special needs?

Sennen Education are recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant to join a variety of excellent primary school and secondary schools in Salford. The roles we offer will be supporting a variety of children who have SEND including Autism and ADHD. You may be required to work with them on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The roles we offer will be ongoing and long-term with immediate start subject to the relevant checks being completed. The roles we offer do have the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

To join us and be successful in this SEND Teaching Assistant Role, you will need:

• A minimum of six weeks UK experience of supporting young people which you can evidence with references.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one)
• Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Provide a CV with up to date employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
