Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Our newest client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, established in 2008, specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health design, with expert services in CFD simulation, electrical network analysis, and REVIT BIM. With offices in the UK, France, and Dubai, they provide innovative design services across sectors, including Mission Critical Data Centres.

They are seeking a personable and proactive Electrical Lead (Associate Level) based in the UK. This role involves leading projects, setting global electrical design standards, and providing technical leadership across global operations. You ll also be instrumental in building and mentoring the electrical engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical engineering design and ensure technical compliance across global projects.
• Deliver and coordinate design, construction, and installation projects.
• Provide expert guidance on technical project requirements and feasibility studies.
• Represent the company at client and 3rd party technical meetings.
• Conduct engineering reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers.
• Support tender and bid processes for new projects.

Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer (or qualified through experience) with 12+ years in consulting engineering.
• Expertise in data centres, mission-critical environments, and HV, MV, LV design.
• Proficiency in ETAP, Dialux, Amtech, and other key software.
• Experience in technical leadership, with the ability to represent the company in client meetings.

Salary: £85,000 to £95,000, dependent on experience.
