Are You the Right Candidate?
We're on the hunt for someone with the following essential qualities and experience:
- Proven experience working within a Quality Management System (think BRCGS, SALSA, ISO9001) or holding Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Hands-on experience conducting and documenting audits, collaborating with various departments to tackle non-conformances, and crafting detailed reports.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and Word, including pivot tables, conditional formatting, and charts.
- Ability to manage your time efficiently and work to deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
- A methodical approach with a keen eye for detail - you thrive on following procedures and best practices.
- Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and constructively, especially when addressing non-conformance issues.
- A collaborative spirit to work effectively with others!
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting a variety of internal audits and completing reports to monitor compliance.
- Creating and maintaining product specifications and records.
- Being a visible presence on the production floor, guiding staff in food safety, quality, and H&S procedures.
- Carrying out H&S risk assessments and conducting basic food safety and quality training for team members.
- Preparing and submitting lab samples while keeping testing schedules up to date.
- Logging lab results and updating trend charts and reports to reflect our commitment to quality.
- Managing calibration schedules for equipment and assisting with Quality System document updates.
- Carrying out label compliance checks and stepping in for the Compliance Manager when needed.
