Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people with additional learning needs and mental health needs?

Are you keen to make a difference to the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEND/SEMH?

I am working with a specialist SEMH therapeutic school who are looking for an engaging and passionate Behaviour Mentors. The children attending this school will have a SEN diagnosis, EHCP (Education Health Care Plan) usually with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

What you can expect as a Therapeutic Learning Mentor

• Therapeutic Learning Mentor roles will vary from day to day, you will be expected to use your initiative and respond calmly in challenging situations
• For aspiring Teachers, Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Play/Art/Music Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers, these positions will offer relevant and vital experience for your chosen career path
• Continued Professional Development - SEND schools and APs are continually training their staff to help them support their children's needs, you will become an expert in your field
• You will have an opportunity to make a huge social impact, as a Behaviour Mentor you could change the path of someone s life!
