About the Role:
This role is integral to our operations, particularly in delivering projects under the Canal & River Trust (CRT) framework. You'll be working on diverse projects for local authorities and other key stakeholders, with project durations ranging from a few weeks to three months. At any given time, you’ll manage 2 to 6 projects at various stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Expertise: Must have a strong background in managing projects within the environmental, aquatic, or water sectors.
- Budget Management: Proven experience in managing project budgets effectively.
- Operational Delivery: Ability to create and oversee project plans, ensuring successful operational delivery on a weekly basis.
- Document Management: Follow and adhere to project documentation, updating as needed to reflect project progress.
- Team Leadership: Provide coaching, support, development, and guidance to the site team, along with effective line management. You will be responsible for line managing a team that includes 1 Project Delivery Manager, 2 Site Managers, and 4 operatives.
