Your new role
As a Paralegal, you will be an integral part of the legal team, reporting to the Senior Legal & Regulatory Affairs Officer. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing transactional and documentation support for financial and commercial contracts, bond listing applications, non-disclosure agreements, and more.
- Contributing to the development of legal and documentation processes and procedures.
- Supporting gilt and bill auctions and tenders.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
- Conducting legal research and drafting advisory notes.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing compliance checks and maintaining the team’s know-how and precedent folders.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A higher education degree in Law or a related subject, or a qualification to practice law in England & Wales.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Strong legal technical, analytical, and research skills.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial markets transactions or commercial contracts (preferred).
