CNC Machine Operator/s

We are currently looking for several CNC Operators to join the existing production team at our clients new bespoke manufacturing site in Irvine which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology/machines.

Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for the cutting of different elements within a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

We are ideally looking for people with proven experience in operating CNC 2 axis who have a strong mechanical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC woodworking machines, ideally being able to demonstrate relevant experience in a timber saw operation.

Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate production.

Inspect finished products for quality and precision.

Maintain machinery by conducting regular checks and cleaning.

Skills Required

Proficiency in using CNC machines (ideally working with wood)

Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and adjust machinery as needed

Familiarity with CAD software for programming purposes

Ability to assemble, and handle materials effectively

Competency in using hand tools and tooling equipment

Knowledge of logic controllers for machine operation

You should be able to demonstrate relevant experience and competency in a timber saw operation.

You must be flexible and willing to work on a 3-shift pattern (Monday Friday):

Dayshift 7am-3:15pm

Backshift 3pm-11:15pm

Nightshift 11pm-7:15am
