Brake Press Operator

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Press Brakes Operative to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our production process, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and form metal components.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to precise specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
• Perform quality checks on finished components
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Experience operating press brake machines
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Mon - Thurs 8am - 4.30pm and Fri 8am - 1pm
