What we’re looking for:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Production/DoP to lead our production team, head up our shoots and drive the creative vision of our projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled and creative individual with a passion for filmmaking, a high level of expertise in cinematography and a proven track record in commercial video production to come in and help drive the company’s development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience and will play a crucial role in overseeing the production side of Manto’s work and working as our most senior director/camera operator ensuring that our projects are delivered to the highest quality standards. We are committed to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and welcome applications from all sections of the community.

What the right person will have:

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in commercial video production
• Significant experience directing and shooting corporate and commercial video projects
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing production teams
• An inclusive and supportive approach to leadership
• High level of technical knowledge in the areas of camera, sound and lighting
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members
• Strong understanding of the production process from concept to final delivery
• Strong understanding of the commercial video content market
• Passion for creativity and innovation in filmmaking.

Key responsibilities:

• Production Management: Overseeing production. Implementing and maintaining production workflows and processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
• Studio Resource Management: Supporting the Studio Manager in allocating and managing studio resources and overseeing the financial aspects of production
• Creative Oversight: Overseeing the production phase of projects ensuring that the creative vision of projects align with the client’s goals and the quality of our work meets the high standards we set ourselves.
• Project Management: Leading high-profile projects and supporting other members of the team to manage smaller scale projects
• Client Relations: Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Company Development: Joining the company’s leadership team and collaborating to contribute to strategic planning, drive company growth and ensure operational excellence. 
• Creative Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and creative innovation within the team.

Salary:

Basic Salary £32k - £38k (depending on skills and experience)
