Primary Teacher

ABC Teachers are recruiting for an experienced Primary Teacher based in the Shrewsbury area to cover a Year 5 maternity contract on a long-term basis to commence from November 2024.

The role
This role includes the following:

• Working on a full-time basis conducting full teacher responsibilities.
• Maternity contract will span from November 2024 to June 2025.

The school
This is based at a one form entry primary school based in the Shrewsbury area.

Requirements
To be considered for the Year 5 Teacher position, you will:

• Have experience teaching in an upper key stage 2 environment.
• Be willing to commit to a full-time role with full responsibilities regarding planning, assessments and liaising with parents.
• Able to work well in a team of staff.
• Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
• Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
• Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.
