HGV Drainage Engineer

Are you an experienced HGV Drainage Engineer looking for your next career move? Vector are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineers to join our clients growing drainage team and contribute to their continued success.

Job Role

You will work as a two-person team maintaining drainage systems with the use of HGV Class 2 Combi Units / Recyclers. You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on the mains sewer network.

Requirements

• You must hold an HGV Class 2 license and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Previous experience of driving and operating combi units is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake physical work associated with maintaining the drainage network.
• Desirable qualifications include Streetworks, HPWJ (High-Pressure Water Jetting), Confined Space, and First Aid.

Shift Pattern

• The working hours are Monday to Friday from 6am to 4pm.
• There may be an on-call rota.

Pay

• The pay rate ranges from £14.50 to £18ph per hour, depending on experience.
• Overtime is compensated at time and a half.

Contract Type

• This is initially a temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
