Frontend Developer

Frontend Engineer - Multi-Strat Hedge Fund - London - Up to £140k + Bonus

One of London's top-performing Multi-Strat funds has experienced exceptional growth over the last 2 years, building out new geographies and adding a number of new strategies and products to its portfolio.

As a result, they're looking to hire a frontend developer who will focus on building a new User Interface, displaying real-time trading data, as well as other key indicators that will assist them with trading.

This role would interact frequently with front office stakeholders, working collaboratively with them to develop slick and advanced user interfaces.

Role

• Build new applications and platforms to monitor and manage the firm's trading strategies and associated tech platforms.
• Develop tick-by-tick visualisation tools to help front-office stakeholders enhance their understanding of the market and strategies.
• Create real-time user interfaces to display Risk and PnL data.

Requirements

• Excellent TypeScript/JavaScript skills, with React experience.
• Ideally, previous experience in building front-office interfaces or interfaces that interact directly with the market.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex web interfaces.
• Deep understanding of UI principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of testing and creating testable UIs.
• Ideally, some exposure to Java or Python to interact with the backend.
