Job: Information Security Analyst

Salary: £65,000 PA + 10% bonus

Location: Manchester/Hybrid

Maxwell Bond are working in partnership with a market-leading fintech business in the Manchester area who are looking to recruit an Information Security Analyst to join their team!

We’re able to offer up to £65,000 per annum for this role alongside flexible hybrid working, initially starting at 3 days per week in the office and 2 per week.

This role requires a hybrid skillset, between an Information Security Analyst and Information Security Engineer. Focusing on SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Incident Management, M365 tools.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage IT security systems, identifying and resolving threats promptly.

Keep updated on new threats and vulnerabilities, communicating them effectively.

Enhance and automate security processes and incident responses.

Conduct vulnerability scans, lead remediation efforts, and exploitation testing.

Ensure compliance with security standards like ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and NIST.

Support Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity planning, and security audits.

Create and manage security reports and dashboards.

Skills Needed:

Experience with security technologies, including M365 and Azure.

Knowledge of Mitre ATT&CK Framework and common cyber-attack methods.

Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, CIS, OWASP, and NIST.

Proficiency in threat detection, incident response, and security audits.
