Senior Quantity Surveyor North London Up to £450pd. outside IR35

The Opportunity

We are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor, with over 40 years of experience supporting the Greater London area. This highly reputable industry specialist works with Local Authorities and Councils, and in this particular opportunity, you will be assisting in the commercial management of a highways term maintenance contract across North London valued at circa £15m per annum. It s worth noting that as this business is part of a wider £2bn group, there will be further opportunities following on from this initial contract.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Manager and lead Quantity Surveyors within the team.
• Build strong relationships with internal and client teams.
• Manage projects from pre-contract through completion, ensuring contract returns and accurate forecasting.
• Oversee sub-contracts, including tendering, payments, and final accounts.
• Collaborate across the wider group to ensure work is valued and risks minimized.
• Complete monthly CVRs

Candidate Essentials:

• Experienced Quantity Surveyor from a highways or civils (NEC) background
• Degree-qualified; in either Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
• Demonstrable experience completing monthly CVRs
• Able to travel to sites across North London
