CNC Miller Machinist

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for a CNC Miller Machinist for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield.

Immediate Start available (Subject to Interview Process)

Rate for Pay 13.00 to 15.00 per hours for basic hours.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or tooling -
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience in operating and setting CNC Milling machines.
• Experience in self-inspection and recording results of produced components.
• Demonstrate a good level of numeracy / literacy.
• Demonstrate the ability to used multiple control systems.
• Experience with Hurco Machines.
