New opportunity available for a Land Safety Consultant to join an industry leading Aerospace and Defence company offering help to our clients to manage their systems safety within the land domain.

• Hybrid role – 2 days a week in Bristol, London or Aldershot
• £30,000 to £50,000
• Ability to obtain SC clearance is required

What will the Land Safety Consultant be doing?

We are looking for consultants with a strong background in the Defence market to offer expertise and direction in the delivery safety management projects. An ideal candidate would have knowledge in Safety Critical Systems Engineering within the Land Domain, considering both organizational and physical systems to ensure the safety of people, equipment, and the environment from unnecessary harm.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring project teams' work meets assurance standards
• Providing insights into future needs to enhance capabilities
• Delivering safety, technical evaluation, and certification artefacts
• Taking on leadership roles in major safety management assignments for clients

We need the Land Safety Consultant to have the following…

• Understanding and application of the following: Defence Standard 00-056 or other Defence Safety Authority Regulations, in particular DSA0, DLSR or LSSR
• A proven track record in implementing Safety Management Systems and the interpretation and analysis of results
• Experience generating Safety Assessment Reports, developing proposals, and providing technical assurance.
• Experience creating innovative Safety Management solutions to support operations and fostering sustainable client relationships while identifying future business opportunities.
• Ideally, experience of conducting/supporting safety related assessments such as HAZOP, FMECA, ZHA, FTA & ETA.
