Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead risk assessments and ensure compliance across all operations.
  • Develop and implement a behavioural safety strategy, embedding a positive safety culture across the workforce.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and recommend improvements to enhance safety standards.
  • Deliver engaging HSE training sessions and toolbox talks to promote awareness.
  • Support site management with incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Drive the development and improvement of management systems and emergency response plans.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of HSE experience, preferably in a Food Manufacturing, FMCG or distribution environment.
  • NEBOSH certification (essential) and a commitment to further development.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation, with the ability to lead and influence behavioural change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage staff at all levels.
  • ISO 14001/45001 audit experience (desirable).
