Sales Director

As the Sales Director, you will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in building and mentoring a high-performing recruitment team, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and establishing our brand as the go-to recruitment partner in the industry.


What you will be doing?

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and market penetration within the Insurance and Financial Services sectors. Align the division's sales efforts with the company's overarching goals.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development to ensure the team consistently meets and exceeds sales targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the Insurance and Financial Services sectors. Expand the client portfolio by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with key industry players.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their recruitment needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive success. Ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction at every touchpoint.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the division's success. Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve sales processes and outcomes.


Who are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 6 years of recruitment experience, with significant exposure to the Insurance and Financial Services sectors. Proven experience in a sales leadership role, ideally within a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a sales team, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Insurance and Financial Services (or similar) markets, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. A robust network within the industry is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and building long-term partnerships. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
