The Role Includes:
As the UK Finance Manager, you will be solely responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the finance department. You will be required to create monthly profit and loss statements, along with balance sheet and cash flow forecasts. You will lead annual budgeting efforts while producing insightful management accounts inclusive of commentary and variance analysis. You will collaborate with senior management to support business decision-making and provide financial guidance.

Skills Required:
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification, as this reflects your expertise in handling complex accounting tasks professionally. Your Financial Leadership Experience will be a key asset, as a proven background leading autonomous financial units or divisions reporting directly to top-tier executives like Managing Directors showcases your capability at helm control.

Industry Knowledge is essential, and familiarity specifically within MEP (mechanical/electrical/plumbing), civil/structural/architectural engineering sectors, or related fields such as data centres/life sciences reveals adaptability towards niche markets our client operates within. Your Project Accounting Savvy is also important, as a demonstrated understanding of Project Accounting principles ensures that high-value project finances are managed precisely, aligning stakeholder expectations efficiently whilst protecting revenues optimally.
