Role Overview

We are looking for an eager candidate to join us as a Social Media Content Creator. You will be tasked with producing high-quality digital content for our main social channels, these being Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.


Role Duties

Ideating and creating social media content across various social media platforms for Woods Foodservice, collaborating with our Brand Ambassador and Brand Coordinator.

Your role will entail shoot days out of office and on-site creating on-brand engaging content including:

  • Capturing high-quality photos and videos for digital media use.
  • Producing and editing various video content formats, including content with voiceovers and subtitles.
  • Producing and creating graphics for social media use.
  • Assisting the Brand Coordinator and Brand Ambassador in coming up with innovative ideas for content.
  • Attending external shoot days to ensure great quality content is captured.
  • Collaborating with suppliers, customers, and external companies to create high-quality content.
  • Carry out daily checks on social media, replying to comments, messages, and DM’s – make sure that we are following and engaging with the right accounts, forwarding on any new leads to the sales team.
  • Fully understand our brand and tone of voice and create engaging, high-quality content that represents that.
  • Your role will also monitor social media trends, competitor activities and industry developments to continuously improve our social media presence and performance.
  • Seek and leverage social media analytics to gain useful insights for social media marketing campaigns.


Requirements

  • Post-Secondary qualification e.g.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience of working in social media related role(s). Portfolio of previous content work, ideally food related.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Have a strong understanding of how social media works for B2B (ideally food related) and how to best utilise it.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience in photography and videography. Competence in video and photo editing for social media.
  • Expertise in various editing platforms such as Canva and Adobe.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and concentration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with people.
  • Able to collaborate with others to create content.
  • Very good organization and planning skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
