Our client, a prestigious US law firm with an established London office, is seeking a 2-6PQE Corporate Real Estate lawyer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Role:

As a Private Equity (Real Estate) Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in advising on a broad range of high-end and mid-market transactions. This includes complex acquisitions, disposals, investments, joint ventures, and fund formations for private equity funds and institutional investors. You will work closely with sponsors, management teams, and other key stakeholders, providing strategic legal advice on deals that shape the real estate landscape.

You will be responsible for:

• Advising clients on private equity real estate transactions, including structuring and negotiating joint ventures, co-investments, and fund formations.
• Handling acquisitions and dispositions of high-value real estate assets across various sectors, including retail, office, distribution, and hospitality.
• Advising on cross-border and domestic transactions, including private equity-backed buyouts, venture capital investments, take-private deals, and distressed asset purchases.
• Managing relationships with high-profile clients, including private equity funds, venture capital firms, institutional investors, and family offices.
• Collaborating with partners and other senior lawyers on major real estate transactions, both in the UK and internationally.

Ideal candidate:

The successful candidate will be a UK qualified 2-6PQE Solicitor with experience with private equity real estate and advising clients on complex and high-value deals. Expertise in structuring joint ventures, investment mandates, and handling acquisitions/dispositions of real estate assets is ideal.
