Experienced java developer to work in FX forward pricing team. Developer will be working on a platform which is highly visible across the organisation due to its revenue generation potential. This role works closely with the business teams whilst offering autonomy and technical innovation.

High-Level Description:

Highly skilled Java developer to join a dynamic FX forward pricing team. S/he will be working with Trading & Quant users, contributing to the design and development of a new pricing engine for the FX forward trading business.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop complex, real-time, java based pricing application within a front office banking environment.
- Develop interfaces to a web based front-end application.
- Implement best development practices and write automated integration tests.
- Address and resolve build and deployment issues, ensuring seamless integration within the CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements

- Proven expertise on java low latency pricing or execution trading system in front office
environment.
- Experience in performance optimisation - include performance /load testing framework.
- Deep understanding of Maven/Gradle build and deploy process, testing, and CI/CD practices
- Strong problem-solving skills, hands-on approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution beyond just writing Java code

Nice to haves

- Basic grasp of web-based ui technologies like Javascript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SaSS
