A leading healthcare provider in Stevenage is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will:
- Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to a wide range of patients.
- Manage complex cases autonomously, ensuring comprehensive, patient-centred care.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based treatments and interventions.
- Prescribe medications, request and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans in line with clinical best practice.
- Play a key role in service development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active NMC registration.
- Hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent qualification).
- Have significant experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, preferably within primary or urgent care.
- Possess an independent prescribing qualification.
- Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
