Capital Works Lead

Spirehouse are recruiting for a Capital Works Lead for a large Social Housing provider in Buckinghamshire.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a housing professional experienced with capital works in social housing to join a large Social Housing provider in Buckinghamshire on an ongoing contract.

The successful candidate will:

• Oversee capital works programme for portfolio of 10,000+ homes
• Procurement to the capital works programme
• Manage works specifications and contractors
• Define processes for contractors
• Deliver capital projects and planned works
• Work within sound governance, JCT contracts
• Responsible for budgets and reporting
• Work across neighbourhoods, customer service, home ownership and building control departments
• Ensure data updates to the housing system and asset records are accurate

Further information:

• Hybrid working available
• 9 months plus possible extensions
• £500 - £600 per day

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
