About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bradford. The successful candidate will inspire and challenge students, delivering high-quality education in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic potential, while fostering a love for science and encouraging critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and resources.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, including science clubs and school trips, to enhance student learning.
• Engage with parents and carers to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's ethos and values.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in a relevant science subject.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary science curriculum (Key Stages 3 and 4; Key Stage 5 experience is desirable).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Enthusiasm for science and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
• Experience teaching in a diverse and multicultural environment is an advantage.
