Senior Ceded Technician (direct report/s)

The role: we are seeking a Senior Ceded Technician who will be responsible for all ceded post-bind activities- assuming responsibility for an agreed set of processes, for a defined ceded external portfolio and internal cessions written across the various platforms and supporting other portfolios as required.

You will ensure compliance with contractual terms, analysing and processing all aspects of ceded reinsurance contracts, collateral agreements. Responsible for supporting certain aspects of the financial accounting, internal controls and reporting for the company.

You will support the continued enhancement and on-going development of various systems and process improvements & assist with certain local or global projects and / or project workstreams in connection with global and special projects.

Additionally, you will Manage and oversee one or two direct reports, and ensure appropriate training, guidance and career development is provided in all aspects of ceded post-bind activities, controls, reporting and system, making this an excellent opportunity for a senior technician ready to step up to a leadership position.

Role requirements:

• Min 4 years’ experience in Ceded Reinsurance.
• Supervisory experience or a strong desire to lead a small team.
• A great opportunity for a senior technician to step up to a leadership role.
• Minimum intermediate level Excel skills.
• Highly collaborative team player, with a “can do” attitude, good problem solving, analytical and relationship building skills.
