Overview of role
This role sits within a leading pure-play Net Zero Consultancy who have been established for over 35 years. They have a very strong client base in the Real Estate and Industrial and Commercial markets, and are looking to expand their ESG Assurance and Verification services. This position would be the leader of this division developing new product and service lines, creating marketing and sales strategies and managing the P&L. Therefore strong domain knowledge and experience in this area is essential.
Role responsibilities and requirements
- Develop Service development plan in ESG Assurance and Verification
- Define products, sectors, sectors and clients
- Drive sales by utilising networks and market relationships
- Lead major account management
- Design and lead marketing and sales communications
- P&L and invoice for your team
- Line management and utilisation
Key skills and qualities needed
- Degree (or equivalent) in accounting, sciences, engineering, economics is desirable
- Experience leading ESG Assurance services line, including product and service development
- Established technical understanding of data acquisition in corporate sustainability reporting
- Strong understanding of assurance and verification in relation to sustainability data and reporting
- Track record in delivering assurance to different specifications and to different standards (e.g.ISO standards, ISAE 3000, etc)
- Managing large scale projects, project teams and delivering to deadlines
- Complex data management and environmental reporting for real estate portfolios
- Account management and new business development
- P&L management
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong communicator - verbal & written
