My client, a logistics provider are looking to hire a HR Advisor with strong ER skills on a 6 month fixed term contract. This role is based in West London, paying up to £60,000 FTE.
Duties will include:
- Partnering and collaborating with senior/management teams, to provide pragmatic and viable solutions to bring the people agenda to life as a highly credible and trusted generalist.
- Coaching, guiding and advising managers on employee best practice
- Supporting with the development of HR policies and processes to ensure legal compliance eg: Modern Slavery and Gender Pay reporting.
- Act as the subject matter expert for your business unit for all employee relations issues. This could include; capability, absence, health and redundancy ensuring successful resolution.
- Working successfully with Unions to achieve a positive and fair resolution
- Leading on TUPE and change management processes
- Identifying service issues and proactively suggesting efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with the global team to roll out new HR initiatives and processes such as performance, career development and succession planning
Key skills
- Strong ER skills, experience managing cases through to completion
- TUPE and change management experience
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation, policies & procedures and best practices
- Experience of working in a matrix organisation in conjunction with central functions & delivery partners.
- Experience working with unions
