Private Client Lawyer

Avocet Legal Careers is recruiting for an ambitious and highly-respected law firm in the South. We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their team in Crewkerne. This full-time, office-based role offers excellent career prospects for the right candidate.

Private Client Lawyer Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload encompassing wills, trusts, estates, lasting powers of attorney, Court of Protection matters, and more
• Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients on private client matters
• Manage your own caseload independently while collaborating with experienced colleagues
• Utilise digital dictation methods and case management systems efficiently

Private Client Lawyer Requirements:

• NQ 3 years' PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
• Solid experience in private client work, including will drafting, deputyships, LPAs, trusts, and estates administration
• Membership of STEP or working towards this qualification is desirable
• Proficiency in digital dictation and case management software (e.g., Dragon)
• Ability to meet billing targets and work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Reliable, conscientious, and committed to professional integrity
