Location: South Yorkshire
Remuneration: £35,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator Architectural Metal will involve:

Estimator position dealing with a high end range of architectural metal systems such as: balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases

Carrying out take-offs from drawings and measurements to produce bills of quantities/price schedules

Dealing with enquiries from various clients via phone calls and emails

Preparing and submitting accurate and detailed tenders within the timeframe provided

Following up all submitted tenders, receiving feedback from clients and updating records accordingly

Conduct handover meetings passing secured projects to our production team

Continue to develop relationships with clients to secure further business

Liaising with colleagues to facilitate the progression of tenders and projects

Producing estimates for projects ranging from £100k to £1m in value

The ideal applicant will be Estimator Architectural Metal with:

Must have estimating experience within the architectural metal market sector, dealing with balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases

Must have sound Excel and AutoCAD skills

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills

Ideally will have experience dealing with commercial and residential projects

Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
