JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Head of Sales UK, the Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining positive commercial relationships with our current and prospective customers with the primary focus of ensuring customer satisfaction and retaining customers beyond their current term.


The Sales Manager will be involved in all commercial elements of the customer journey, specifically, renewals, retention, identifying opportunities to upsell additional Knotel services and ensuring their satisfaction within their workspace.


The successful candidate will retain and build business ultimately, making a positive financial impact on Knotel UK annual revenue.


This is a 12 month fixed term appointment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Maintain and build commercial relationships with our customers key decision makers e.g. CEO’s, Head of Facilities, taking guidance from Head of Sales
  • Work with Head of Sales and Account Executives to fully understand the customer requirements and the commercial terms of the transaction.
  • Provide customers with personalised service including quick responses to their enquiries to build rapport and trust.
  • Act of behalf of the customer as the liaison with Project Managers and Workspace teams to ensure customer feedback regarding the move-in is addressed
  • Building and deepening customer relationships and trust through regular interaction and relationship-building calls, quarterly in person meets and events to understand their business needs and anticipate changes in requirements.
  • Assess any customers complaints, reactive issues or reservations, and work with relevant departments to resolve them for the customeer.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), hold customer consultations explaining the various tiers of IT, Branding, additional furniture and space re-design packages
  • Work with sales and Knotel Work Club at Old Sessions House to increase utilisation of the space.
  • Negotiate renewals with existing customers to protect and grow Knotel business and Revenue
  • Work with operations to organise move in breakfasts and identify opportunities for customer engagement
  • Using our Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce to scrupulously manage the renewal pipeline and keep the entire business aware of those at risk, suggesting creative solutions to turn around any customers who may be considering leaving the platform.
  • Ensure customers are paying on time, as close to 1st of the month as possible; if not, understanding why


EDUCATION

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (grades A-C)


EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience within Flexible Office Space Provider industry in a customer service, relationship management or sales role essential
  • You will be a strong communicator that is passionate about customer service and building strong commercial relationships.


SKILLS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management tools
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience of interacting with C Suite stakeholders
  • Creative deal-maker with an attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and team working skills
  • Ability to learn new commercial skills where needed
