About the Company
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Director to join a leading Investment Trust embarking on a ground-breaking new Real Estate programme. This ambitious project involves the creation of a cutting-edge, multi-use, mixed-site campus in Cambridge, featuring residential accommodation, a gym, restaurants, and state-of-the-art laboratories.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the IT Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the entire technology landscape across the business. As the key driver of IT strategy, you will oversee both software and infrastructure elements, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across multiple sites. This includes managing critical systems such as property management platforms, CAFM systems, security infrastructure (CCTV, Access Control), and core services like WiFi and helpdesk operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's long-term vision, providing insight and guidance on strategic technology investments. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that the business remains at the forefront of technological innovation. This role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who can engage effectively at all levels within the organisation.
