PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Location: Rickmansworth, London

Rate: £450 per day Outside IR35

I am currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to come onboard and be the right hand to the existing Procurement Lead.

PROCUREMENT MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies
• Formulate strategies that align with the company's objectives and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and contracts.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and control procurement budgets, aiming to achieve cost savings and efficiencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to the supply chain, including potential disruptions and compliance issues.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

PROCUREMENT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and conditions.
• Previous experience managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
• Has a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in contracts, orders, and compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members effectively.
• Proficient in analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and procurement data to make informed decisions.
