Key Responsibilities:

  • Rewinding and repairing armatures, stators, and rotors for high and medium voltage motors and generators.
  • Conducting coil winding, assembly, and insulation of motor components.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out efficient repairs to ensure motors and generators are operational to the highest standards.
  • Testing and quality assurance of motors after rewinding to ensure optimal performance.
  • Working to health and safety standards, ensuring all tasks are completed safely.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as an Armature Winder, specifically with high and medium voltage motors and generators.
  • Strong knowledge of winding techniques, insulation systems, and testing procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • High level of attention to detail and precision in all work.
  • Good understanding of health and safety protocols.
