Key Responsibilities:
- Rewinding and repairing armatures, stators, and rotors for high and medium voltage motors and generators.
- Conducting coil winding, assembly, and insulation of motor components.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out efficient repairs to ensure motors and generators are operational to the highest standards.
- Testing and quality assurance of motors after rewinding to ensure optimal performance.
- Working to health and safety standards, ensuring all tasks are completed safely.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an Armature Winder, specifically with high and medium voltage motors and generators.
- Strong knowledge of winding techniques, insulation systems, and testing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- High level of attention to detail and precision in all work.
- Good understanding of health and safety protocols.
