BWP
marlow
Full Time
Permanent
Salary: £30k
You take great pride in the physical space around you and are passionate about creating and maintaining a happy and harmonious office where people are supported and enabled to do their job.
You get bored in mundane, every day’s the same, working environments and thrive in fast-paced offices with multiple tasks to juggle.
You’re local to Marlow, willing and able to work from a town centre office five days a week during office hours (9am - 5:30pm) with the flexibility to start early or finish late when required (i.e. to prepare for and/or clear up after meetings).
You’re looking for a role where you can make an immediate impact on those around you and see the benefit of your work from day one.
Then you might be interested in the Office Manager position that BWP are looking to recruit…
What is BWP and why should I work for the agency?
Our integrated marketing and PR campaigns supports the growth of brands like Trafford Centre, Gravity, Livingston Designer Outlet, Kärcher and IKEA.
All our employees enjoy the standard benefits you’d expect - a competitive salary (in this case £30k); 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays and an extra day for your birthday; and a pension scheme. Plus, we also offer:
What will the Office Manager at BWP do?
As an integral part of the agency, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the office is welcoming for our visitors and a great space for our staff to work and thrive.
Whilst there’ll be some regular daily/weekly/monthly tasks you’ll be getting stuck into, in truth, no two days will be the same as needs and priorities change regularly.
You’ll be delivering vital services which will enable your colleagues to deliver great work for our clients. This will involve:
1. Making sure the office is clean, tidy and presentable at all times
2. Providing administrative support to the business
3. Supporting with recruitment and staff onboarding activities. From uploading job ads to reviewing CVs to sending offer letters, you’ll manage it all. Then ensuring everything is in place for the new starter’s first day.
4. Supporting the Traffic and Resource Manager. Assisting with the scheduling of creative and strategic resource and ensuring they have everything needed to deliver the work as scheduled.
Please note that, given the nature of the Office Manager’s responsibilities, this is a primarily office-based role. Whilst you will have the potential to work from home on a Tuesday and Friday; if there are any meetings taking place in the office on these days, or your workload requires you to be on-site to complete your tasks, you will be expected to work in the office along with other operational members of the BWP team.
What do I need to showcase in my CV to stand out?
For this role, we’re more interested in how well you can do the job than how long you’ve been doing it.
We’re looking for someone who:
