Position Summary:
Our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team in Fareham. This role involves developing and implementing structured engineering solutions across the entire development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legislation, customer requirements, human factors, and business needs. The successful candidate will meet technical, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Engineering: Capture and define requirements with a rigorous approach, ensuring full understanding through critical questioning.
- Systems Engineering Solutions: Design, model, optimise performance, and conduct detailed technical reviews.
- System Verification: Plan and document comprehensive system verification, including simulations, various tests, and flight tests.
- Quality and Configuration Control: Produce work products that meet all technical and quality standards and manage change processes effectively.
- 2-4 years in Aerospace Systems Engineering
- Experience in aircraft equipment design
- Skilled in hardware-software trade-offs and requirements partitioning
- Proficient in mathematical and graphical modelling
- Awareness of aircraft certification requirements
