?? The Job Mission
As a Configuration Control Lead, you will oversee the configuration of the end-to-end HVAC scope within the HPC project, ensuring the configuration is always known and managed effectively. Your future team will rely on your leadership to minimize risks and deliver a system at a known configuration.
?? Lead and coordinate a team of three configuration engineers, ensuring their wellbeing.
?? Ensure compliance with the higher-level Configuration Control Process for the HVAC scope.
?? Manage the consistency and quality of documentation across the HVAC delivery sequence.
?? Drive prioritization of Design Maturity and Stability throughout the delivery process.
?? Represent HVAC Engineering in configuration workstreams and lead optimization efforts.
?? Maintain and improve configuration management tools and ensure data quality.
?? Provide visibility on design package maturity to the Engineering Manager.
?? Develop and maintain KPIs and reporting related to HVAC configuration management.
Essential:
?? Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
?? Meticulous and rigorous engineering approach with high professional standards.
?? Proven ability to deliver engineering safely, on time, and within budget.
?? Ability to work autonomously while understanding limitations.
?? Knowledge of contractual and commercial mechanisms.
Desired:
?? Degree in a related engineering field.
?? Chartered Engineer status with a relevant engineering institute.
?? Detailed understanding of PWR design and operational experience.
?? Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
