ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the Data Science team to build scalable, reliable infrastructure for ML model deployment and data processing.
- Deploy ML models and data pipelines to production, ensuring robust monitoring and alerting systems.
- Create and maintain automation scripts for efficient and reproducible ML model deployment.
- Apply security best practices and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and DevOps to streamline model development, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ML model performance and data pipeline issues to minimize downtime.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices thoroughly.
- Stay updated on new DevOps/MLOps technologies and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in DevOps/MLOps or similar roles, with a strong focus on deploying, maintaining, and optimizing machine learning models in production environments.
- Proficient in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes); CKA or CKAD certification is highly desirable for demonstrating advanced skills.
- Advanced scripting and automation skills in languages such as Python and Bash, enabling efficient and reliable ML model deployment.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages (e.g., GoLang, NodeJS) to support diverse project requirements and enhance development versatility.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for scalable and reproducible infrastructure management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (e.g., Git) to ensure smooth integration and continuous delivery of ML models.
- Deep understanding of data science workflows and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) to effectively collaborate with data scientists and optimize model performance.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, facilitating clear and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, fostering a cooperative environment to achieve shared goals and drive successful project outcomes.
