We are an innovative and market leading software & services company based in Chorley serving clients in the utility sector ranging from new entrants to large existing suppliers. We deliver sophisticated software solutions and managed services in a Private Cloud infrastructure, servicing both traditional and modern real-time, smart energy clients.
As a Client Integration Test Analyst you will be expected to support, and sometimes mentor, other people within the team combining both business and technology skills and industry knowledge. The role will also require supporting the Lead Implementation Consultant to continuously refine and evolve the processes and procedures that underpin a successful Implementation Services Consultancy team, all of which are in support of delivering our teams vision and goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Client Integration Test Analyst at ESG you will:
- Analyse and review project and product documentation to ensure thorough understanding of the business and technical requirements
- Analyse and understand new and existing software components and requirements
- Identify and define testable requirements from documented and undocumented sources
- Create, implement, and review test plans, scripts, and test completion documentation
- Link Test Requirements to Test Cases, ensuring 100% coverage of planned testing
- Define, generate, and load test data
- Peer review of colleague’s test artefacts
- Test Case Execution results recording
- Identify, log, and monitor defects using the company’s chosen Defect Management Tool, Jira
- Define and seek to ensure all Test Completion criteria has been met
- Analyse test results by working with the Business Analysts and Developers to identify and resolve issues
- Manage the end-to-end processes involved in integrating ESG products into Clients / third parties existing landscapes, including, test support and the provision of integration testing artifacts, data set-up and test environments (where relevant)
- Build strong relationships with Clients to enable and improve their knowledge and system confidence, ensuring a best-in-class experience.
- Provide accurate status reporting to the Client/ business during product integration test activities
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
- 2 years minimum Software Testing work experience in a software or support environment
- Energy Industry experience is essential
- Proven ability to interpret requirements
- Excellent written and oral communications
